Bow Cats Sign Local Standout

HUNTINGDON, Tenn. -The Bethel University Archery program stayed close to home Tuesday signing Huntingdon High School standout Hunter Williams.

Hunter is the son of Cindy Woods and will major in Fisheries and Wildlife.

"Hunter is an avid outdoorsman with a lot of hunting experience.  He will be an excellent member of the team with his work ethic and competitive nature. I hope to be able to help fine tune his archery skills and mentor him along the way," said Bethel Head Coach Hunter Louden.

Williams made the state tournament his sophomore year.

Hunter feels his biggest strengths are in being a team player, his willingness to learn and passion for the sport.
