University in 2025.
Reid comes to Bethel following six seasons at Illinois College, including two record-breaking
years as the Recruiting Coordinator, Run Game Coordinator, and Offensive Line Coach.
During his time at Illinois College, the Blueboys broke multiple conference and national records.
In the 2023 season, the Illinois College rushing attack averaged 175 yards per game with 5.0
yards per carry, totaling nearly 2,000 rushing yards. The team produced one All-Region
selection at running back, T.J. Little, and captured the program’s first Midwest Conference
Championship, along with a berth in the NCAA Division III Playoffs. In 2024, Illinois College
finished with the No. 1 offense in the nation in both yards per game (589.4) and points per game
(55.5), while ranking 16th in rushing (213 yards/game), 7th in yards per carry (6.4) and 1st in
tackles-for-loss (TFL) allowed per game (24).
Reid began his coaching career at Briar Cliff University as the Tight Ends Coach. While at Briar
Cliff, he mentored one All-Conference tight end and was part of the program’s first winning
season in school history. At Illinois College, Reid coached 12 All-Conference offensive linemen,
including recent standouts Collier McPherson, Jacob Benninger, and Evan Henley.
An Illinois College alum, Reid graduated from the Hilltop in 2018 with a Bachelor of Education in
Physical Education. As a two-year starter on the offensive line, he helped lead one of the top
red zone offenses in Division III and was part of 13 games with 200 or more rushing yards.
Reid now resides in Camden, Tennessee, with his wife, Lauren.
