Senior Student-Athletes Honored in Pinning Ceremony

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – Bethel University Interim Director of Athletics Dave McCulley and the athletic staff honored 65 graduating student-athletes Friday. The students are among the spring graduating class which received diplomas Saturday in graduation ceremonies at the school.

Each student-athlete received a pin in a pinning ceremony which is a tradition with each graduating class. Coaches from various sports were in attendance and took part in the ceremony honoring their athletes.

McCulley commented on the event. "We are honored to present each one of these young people a pin which represents what they have accomplished here at Bethel. Being a student athlete and meeting the challenges in their respective sports and classroom can be difficult. These student-athletes have met these challenges with a determined spirit with eyes on the future. We are thrilled to honor them. This is and will continue to be a part of the Bethel Experience."
