Dixon & Moore Earn MSC Bluegrass Division Football Players of the Week Award

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Bethel's (Tenn.) James Dixon and Brandon Moore and Campbellsville's (Ky.) Anton Fant are the Mid-South Conference Bluegrass Division Football Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

 MSC Bluegrass Offensive Player of the Week

James Dixon – Bethel (Tenn.) - Fr. - Wide Receiver – Waverly, Tenn.

 Dixon averaged 25 yards per catch while scoring three touchdowns in Bethel's 43-24 win over Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday.

He finished the game with five receptions and 125 yards.

  Dixon's touchdown catches came from eight, 13, and 58 yards.

 He ranks 21st in the NAIA this season averaging 94.1 receiving yards per game. Dixon's 10 touchdown receptions are tied for fifth in the NAIA.

Dixon picks up the first career MSC weekly honor of his career.

 MSC Bluegrass Special Teams Player of the Week

Brandon Moore – Bethel (Tenn.) - Jr. - Kick Returner - Fayetteville, Tenn.

 Moore returned a kickoff for a touchdown in Saturday's win at Cumberland.

  His 88-yard touchdown return was one of four returns on the day.

  It marks the first kickoff return for a touchdown for the Wildcats this season.

 Moore averaged 31 yards per kickoff return in the win.

  This season, Moore is averaging 26.2 yards per kickoff return in his six returns.

 Moore earns the first career MSC weekly honor of his career.
