Volley Cats Drop MSC Match at Cumberland University

LEBANON, Tenn. –In a tightly contested match, the Cumberland University proved to be too much for the Bethel Lady Wildcats Thursday night in Lebanon.

The Phoenix won 25-23, 27-25, 30-28 and 25-13.

Setareh Valibeygi led Bethel with 21 assists. Mackenzie McCammon followed with 15 assists.  Gabriel Dominguez finished with 14 kills. Sami Parker had 14 digs. Dominika Skoneczna had 11 digs.

Bethel dropped to 10-7 and 2-5 in the league.

Cumberland improved to 16-13 and 3-5. CU snapped a five-game losing streak with the victory.

Bethel returns to action Saturday to host Crowley's Ridge at 1 p.m.
