Volleyball Inks Indiana Standout

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Bethel University Volleyball program signed Kennedi Morrison of Greenwood, Indiana recently. Kennedi is the daughter of Lonnie and Niki Morrison and will major in Psychology.

Kennedi attended Whiteland Community High School where she played varsity volleyball all four years. She also played club volleyball each winter, spring and fall.

She holds the WCHS record in career kills, season kills, career kills per set and season kills per set. She was an all-conference performer three times during her prep career. Morrison was all-county her senior year.

Off the court, Kennedi excelled as she was in the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, Student Council, Athletic Leadership Council and Ping Pong Club. Morrison was on the Honor Roll all four years and fourth in her graduating class. Kennedi earned academic all-state honors in volleyball during her career.

Morrison feels her biggest strengths are knowledge of the sport and how she uses that knowledge to help her improve her game.

Bethel Coach Starla Cupples stated, "Kennedi is a well-rounded athlete who's a great fit for our program. I look forward to getting her on campus this fall."
