
Women’s Soccer Continues Domination of Freed-Hardeman
HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats opened up MSC play Saturday in Henderson against rival Freed-Hardeman.
It was the 20th meeting in the series and with a 2-nil victory, Bethel's domination continued as the Cats moved to 18-1-1 all-time between the two.
The Lady Wildcats snapped a four-game losing streak and improved to 2-6, and 1-0 on the year. FHU dropped to 0-9-1 and 0-2.
Briley Ross went coast to coast dribbling around several defenders to score at the 81:42 mark. Ross scored again seven minutes later after assists from Audrey La Rue and Zainab Manneh.
Bethel had a 31-6 margin in shots and a 13-3 advantage in shots on goal.
Alba Lopez Guerrero had three saves for the Cats.
The Lady Cats return to action Tuesday hosting Campbellsville at 5 p.m.
