Women’s Soccer Drops First Game of Season

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats dropped their first game of the season Saturday falling 4-2 at home to Texas A & M Texarkana.

The Cats trailed 3-1 at the break. Cassidy Kerkesner had an unassisted goal for Bethel's only score in the period.

Bethel scored in the second stanza to cut the deficit to 3-2. Audrey LaRue scored on an assist from Elle Carson. The Eagles answered and went on to win 4-2.

The Wildcats had a 19-10 margin in shots and a 10-7 advantage in shots on goal.

Bethel fell to 4-1 on the season while the Eagles remained undefeated at 4-0.

Bethel jumps into league play traveling to Georgetown on September 22.
