Lady Cats are Fourth after First Day of MSC Women’s Golf Championship
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson leads after the first round of the Mid-South Conference Women's Golf Championship Monday at Bowling Green Country Club.
The Blue Raiders carded a 5-over par 293 on the par-72 5,804-yard course. Cumberlands (Ky.) sits in second 16 shots back with a 307 while Cumberland is third with a 309.
Lindsey Wilson's Papatsara Niamrungrueang leads after the first 18 holes with a 2-under par 70. Niamrunrueang recorded the most birdies in the first round with five. Lindsey Wilson's Danielle Bekker is second with a 71. Cumberlands' Atchariya Thanaudomkul carded a 74 and is third while Cumberland's Matilda Lind and Caitlyn Bilham are tied for fourth with a 75.
Albane Le Helloco led the Lady Wildcats shooting a five over 77 and is tied for 10th.
Bethel (Tenn.) sits in fourth with a 316 while Freed-Hardeman is fifth after carding a 319. Campbellsville (Ky.) and Georgetown (Ky.) round out the team standings with a 323 and 389, respectively.
The second round of the MSC Championship gets underway at 8 a.m. CT Tuesday at Bowling Green Country Club.
