
Lady Cats Hope to Find Shooting Touch at Lindsey Wilson
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats hope to return to their early season shooting form Thursday when they travel to Columbia, Kentucky to face the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders.
Bethel had a 47 percent shooting average in their first five games of the season and went 5-0. In their last four outings, the Cats have averaged 32 percent from the field and have lost four in a row.
Lindsey Wilson is 4-4 after starting their season at 4-0. The Blue Raiders are 0-4 in the MSC. Bethel is 1-2 in league play. LWC is 4-2 at home while Bethel is 4-1 at home, 1-2 in road action and 0-1 in neutral site affairs.
The game will mark 19th meeting between the two programs. Bethel leads the series 11-7 and has won three of the last four.
Madison Hart leads Bethel in scoring at 16.6 points per game. The freshman averages almost seven rebounds per game. Keely Morrow averages 14.1 points per outing. Alyia Lee averages nine points and eight rebounds per game.
The Lady Cats average 68.2 and yield 63.4 points per outing.
The Lady Raiders average 75.4 and yield 69.1 points per game.
LWC is led in scoring by Maleigha Oldham who averages 13.3 points per game. Lucy Patterson follows with 11.5 points per contest.
Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m.
