MSC Releases Men’s Soccer Preseason Watch List

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. ­­– The 2024 Mid-South Conference Men's Soccer Watch List has been released, conference officials announced Tuesday.

Conference coaches each submitted three players whom they anticipate will have a significant impact on their teams' successes this upcoming season.

Standouts include Cumberland University's Robbie Lyons, who led the Phoenix in scoring last season totaling 10 goals. Cumberland, winners of the 2023 MSC Tournament, the Phoenix's would go on to lose in the Second Round of the NAIA Tournament.  

Lindsey Wilson brings back a stud in NAIA Third team All-American Sebastian Tregarthen, who in his Freshman campaign, led Lindsey Wilson with 10 goals on the season to help them finish ranked 4th nationally. Lindsey Wilson was defeated by Cumberland in the MSC Tournament and went on to make the second round of the NAIA Tournament as well.

Bethel would finish last season strong, ranked 25th in the nation, would make it to the Second Round of the NAIA Tournament, joined by the University of the Cumberlands who finished the season ranked 16th nationally who also made it to the Second Round of the NAIA Tournament.
