Men’s Soccer Wins at FHU
HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Bethel Wildcats moved their all-time record against Freed-Hardeman to 11-0 with a 3-0-win Tuesday night in Henderson.
Two first period goals gave the Cats a 2-nil lead at the break.
Alvarez Cooper and Pablo Ramirez scored on assists from Jordan Dacey and Luka Mrvic.
The Cats added a single score in the second stanza. Gregory Cousins scored late on an assist from Goffin Oyiworth.
Bethel outshot the Lions 16-8. FHU had a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal, but Norberto Lima Vieira recorded five saves for the Wildcats.
The 12th ranked Wildcats moved to 10-2 and 3-1 in the Mid-South Conference.
The Lions lost their third match in a row and fell to 6-7-2 and 0-4.
The Cats are back in action October 20 with a home match versus Campbellsville. Play will begin at 7:30 p.m.
