Bio

Coach Jose Hernandez graduated from Bethel University in 2017 where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. Prior to graduating from Bethel, he played four years for the program. After graduating from Bethel, he became a volunteer coach where he helps coach the varsity and junior varsity teams. While   working with the Bethel team, CoachHernandez was hired as an assistant coach for Henry County High School where he helped lead the Patriots to their first ever district championship, regional finalist and their firstever TSSAA Substate appearance. After that season, Coach Jose left the Henry County Patriots to focus totally on the Bethel men’s program and to learn more on being the best coach he can be. He is mentored by Coach Malang Jarju. Jose is entering his fifth year as a volunteer coach.
